Abstract

ADD Coastline layer. This abstract, and the dataset to which it belongs, is fictitious. This record is a demonstration of typical Science Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) Antarctic Digital Database (ADD) dataset level metadata. This sample record is based on the the UK Polar Data Centre\'s discovery metadata profile which is implemented on top of the ISO 19115 / 19139 standards and EU INSPIRE / UK GEMINI profiles.

See the ADD website for real datasets (https://add.scar.org).

I tried really hard to make this a bounding radius but couldn't 😞.

Data lineage

This lineage statement, and data referenced in this record, are fictitious. This lineage statement has been included as a demonstration of a typical Science Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) Antarctic Digital Database (ADD) dataset level metadata record. The coastline was traced using satellite imagery and probably some other information.
